28At South Florida public relations firm Durée & Company, there’s nothing we like more than a reason to get dressed up and celebrate – especially when it’s for a good cause. That’s why we’re excited for the 13th Annual Galaxy Gala and Big Bang: H2Glow After Party benefiting the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science, on Saturday, April 18 at the Hilton Miami Downtown.

The Galaxy Gala, themed “Aqua Lumière” and Big Bang: H2Glow After Party will raise funds for the development of the new Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science construction in downtown Miami’s Museum Park. The construction recently reached its 50 percent completion point and is slated to open in 2016. Next year, the Galaxy Gala and Big Bang After Party will be hosted at the new Museum. During the gala, French artist Antonin Fourneau will combine the natural elements of light and water with technology to create an interactive graffiti experience, highlighting the Galaxy Gala’s theme of “Aqua Lumière.” We agree, it will be as cool as it sounds!

But that’s only the beginning, because there’s an after party, too. Starting at 9 p.m., the Big Bang: H2Glow After Party will be hosted by the Frost Science Young Patrons. Filled with South Florida’s young professionals, H2Glow will start with a cocktail reception before the doors open at 11 p.m. to the most exclusive club in Miami … for that night. Dancing is a requirement, so come prepared!
