Lifestyle Magazine June 2017 Issue Photoshoot at Sabbia Beach


As publicists in an ever-changing media landscape, we are constantly thinking of new and unique ways to pitch client stories. At Fort Lauderdale PR firm Durée & Company, we pride ourselves on our unique pitch ideas that grab the attention of both local and national media.

Recently, group editor of Lifestyle Media Group, Kevin Kaminsky, was in our office to chat about clients and brainstorm ideas for coverage. Inspired by her extensive real estate experience, D&Co President Durée Ross pitched and secured a truly exceptional editorial piece.

As the creativity and idea came to fruition, it was decided that D&Co real estate client, Sabbia Beach, would be the site of a fashion photoshoot for Lifestyle Magazine’s June 2017 issue. Sabbia Beach is the only real estate project in Broward County to have a feature like this.

Before the sun was up, D&Co dynamos Caroline Williams and Nicole Cornella, the Lifestyle Magazine team and a crew including photographers, stylists and a hair and make-up squad, met at Sabbia Beach to shoot former American’s Next Top Model contestant Alexandra Agro for the cover of the magazine. After a few beach shots just after the sun was up with Sabbia Beach as a backdrop, we grabbed some hard hats and headed to the construction zone for some more action, but not without a few wardrobe changes.

Alexandra posed amongst construction, leaning against concrete and sitting on unfinished frames of the building.  Sabbia Beach may be rising out of the sand, one floor at a time, but the unfinished project set the stage for a shoot unlike any other in Broward County.

Being on-site for the shoot was a true behind-the-scenes experience. Durée & Company was proud to work alongside Lifestyle Media Group and bring an idea that started in a conference room to pages in a magazine.

Sabbia Beach, Pompano Beach’s First Ultra-Luxury Oceanfront Residential Development in Nearly a Decade, Now Over 75 Percent Sold
