INTERN

Izzy was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas, and moved to the United States in 2019 to pursue her college education. She recently earned a master’s degree in composition, rhetoric and digital media from Nova Southeastern University. Throughout her graduate studies, she strengthened her skills in writing, editing, research, digital strategy and multimedia storytelling, culminating in a thesis exploring how communicators navigate the structural differences between content and audiences in today’s evolving communications landscape.

Before joining Durée & Company, Izzy gained public relations and communications experience through positions with a communications agency and a nonprofit organization. In those roles, she contributed to press releases, media pitches, social media content, press materials and brand development initiatives. She also served as a graduate assistant coordinator at Nova Southeastern University’s Writing and Communication Center, where she supported students while helping manage communications and scheduling.

Passionate about meaningful storytelling, Izzy believes the most effective communications are both intentional and authentic. She brings curiosity, creativity and a strong attention to detail to every project and looks forward to continuing to grow her career in public relations.
