Lorah Laurent was raised in Haiti and discovered her passion for social media, brand storytelling and digital strategy early in her career. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and completed a master’s degree in social and emerging media at the University of Tampa, where she now serves as an active board member for the program.

Laurent has built a strong career in account management, social media strategy and brand development, working across various industries, including real estate, hospitality, lifestyle and professional services. In her roles, she has led social media operations, directed content planning, managed client communications and helped shape cohesive digital identities for a range of brands. She also supports small businesses and executives through freelance social media management, providing strategy, scheduling and performance insights.

Outside of work, Laurent enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and spending time with friends while finding creative inspiration in beauty, fashion and lifestyle trends.
