Durée & Company, Inc. is a proud corporate partner to the professional cannabis industry association Cannabis LAB (CLAB), also known as Cannabis Law, Accounting & Business. We have organized CLAB’s April 8 virtual panel discussion, “USDA Final Rule for Hemp Production: What Does This Mean For You?”
Our CEO and founder Durée Ross, a CLAB leadership team member, will moderate a panel of experts. They will weigh in on these new rules and provide participants with key takeaways to keep them current with the regulations. Plus, the panel will discuss what this ruling means for Delta-8 THC.
Cannabis and Hemp PR
As PR innovators in the booming CBD, hemp and cannabis industry, we at Fort Lauderdale and Aspen-based public relations agency Durée & Company are highly sought after by major players in the cannabis industry for our expertise in the field, and our ability to secure these types of opportunities for our clients. Since we started working in the cannabis and hemp industries before the 2018 Farm Bill, we have a strong understanding of how to navigate this ever-changing and growing field.
With our deep industry connections, for the April 8 event, we were able to tap into the cannabis industry’s best, including Masha Belinson, corporate development with ACS Laboratory; Dustin Robinson, founding partner of Mr. Cannabis Law; Ricardo Alvares, regional director of South Florida for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS); and Jason Navarrete, CEO and founder of Pure Craft CBD.
Event highlights
The April 8 discussion will revolve around the USDA’s final rule surrounding hemp production regulations. This rule went into effect on March 22, 2021. In short, the program provides requirements for maintaining records about the land where hemp is produced, testing the levels of total Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, disposing of non-compliant plants, licensing hemp producers, and ensuring compliance under the new program.
Plus, panelists will discuss Delta-8 THC. This compound has the potential to revolutionize the role of cannabis in the health and wellness industry and dwarf the CBD market. It’s gaining popularity due to its highly potent medicinal properties.
Join us on April 8
The panel discussion will take place via Zoom on Thursday, April 8, 6–7:15 p.m. EDT. It’s free for CLAB members to participate. Non-CLAB members can participate in the virtual event or watch the recording by purchasing a ticket for $20.
Members can sign up for the event, and non-members can purchase a ticket for the event, here. This is a great opportunity to sign up for a CLAB membership! CLAB educates, connects and empowers the people and resources necessary to drive the cannabis industry forward. To find out more, click here.
