We at award-winning PR firm Durée & Company will be elated to get a strike – and surprisingly, so will Major League Baseball players – at the 5th annual Jon Jay FMSbonds Celebrity Bowling Challenge on Jan. 16 at Splitsville Lanes in Miami. The fun-filled event, hosted by Jon Jay, San Diego Padres outfielder, Miami native and Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade alumnus, will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami Dade’s Project Learn After-School Program.
Not only will Jay be in attendance, but many of his MLB friends, as well as other celebrities, will be lacing up their bowling shoes for this great cause. In fact, at last year’s Bowling Challenge, Bravo TV’s Andy Cohen, football star Olivier Vernon, and baseball stars including Yonder Alonso, Chris Marrero, Matt Holliday and Gio Gonzalez struck out to enjoy the evening.
Check out just a few reasons why we at D&Co are eagerly anticipating this star-studded event:
- Red carpet arrivals (Major League Baseball stars and local celebrities)
- Enticing hors d’oeuvres and cocktails
- An exciting bowling challenge
The event is open to the public (attendees can bowl or simply watch the friendly competition.) Tickets are $75 per individual non-bowler, $125 per individual bowler, and $475 per bowling team (five people.) Tickets and sponsorship packages can be purchased here.
This event is one of many that we at D&Co are looking forward to working with in 2016 to support our esteemed non-profit clients, such as Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.
Why not join us, MLB stars and other celebrities for the 5th annual Jon Jay FMSbonds Celebrity Bowling Challenge – it’s right up your alley!
