Legacy Harbour Marina Partners with Dockwa to Open Waitlist as Redevelopment Advances

By October 30, 2025January 16th, 2026No Comments

Legacy Harbour Marina, located along the Caloosahatchee River in downtown Fort Myers, is now accepting inquiries and forming a waitlist for future slip reservations through Dockwa, a digital marina management platform that connects boaters and marinas nationwide.

The marina, which sustained significant damage during Hurricane Ian in 2022, is being fully redeveloped under the direction of AIRN Management, LLC, in partnership with Bellingham Marine. Construction began in early 2025, and the reopening is anticipated in the first quarter of 2026.

As part of the modernization, Legacy Harbour will feature 131 slips ranging from 40 to 150 feet. The redesign incorporates Bellingham Marine’s Unifloat concrete wave attenuator system, supported by 70-foot steel piles, and interior slips with a Unideck aluminum frame dock system and WearDeck synthetic decking. Planned infrastructure upgrades include new utilities such as potable water, in-slip pump-out, fire suppression, fiberglass dock boxes, and both single- and three-phase power.

Spanning approximately 13 acres of riverfront, Legacy Harbour offers direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and is within walking distance of the Fort Myers River District.

Through its partnership with Dockwa, Legacy Harbour is bringing new convenience and connectivity to the reservation process. Dockwa enables boaters to submit slip requests, join the marina’s waitlist, and manage inquiries directly through its website or mobile app. The platform also supports digital contracts, secure payments, and real-time communication between marinas and boaters, while expanding Legacy Harbour’s visibility within Dockwa’s nationwide boating network.

To complement the marina’s redevelopment, Legacy Harbour has also launched a new website at fmlegacyharbour.com, providing updated project information, the marina’s history, renderings and a direct link to Dockwa for slip inquiries.

Boaters can join the waitlist now by visiting fmlegacyharbour.com and selecting “Request a Slip.” Slip reservations are expected to open closer to the 2026 debut. For additional information, contact Eric Ravenschlag at EricR@airnmanagement.com.
