As part of its 6th Annual Cannabis Law, Accounting and Business (CLAB) Conference and Expo, Cannabis Lab (CLAB) hosted its by invitation only Annual CEO VIP Dinner at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel South Beach, Miami, on June 3. Top CEOs in the cannabis space enjoyed an intimate dinner themed “Up in Smoke.” Ricky Williams, former NFL player and founder and president of Highsman, who served as the conference’s keynote speaker, was in attendance.
Upon arrival, guests were poured a glass of Champagne from an upside-down acrobatic performer. The alfresco cocktail hour overlooking the pool also featured “up in smoke” green cocktails made with dry ice. Jarobi, a founding member of hip hop group “A Tribe Called Quest,” performed a hip hop and reggae set. Throughout the evening, guests had their portraits drawn live by fashion illustrator Etienne Class. The evening concluded with cannabis-themed cake and cupcakes served by Frudéco.
As a longtime partner to CLAB, Durée & Company sponsored the event and worked with Aloré Event Firm to conceptualize the evening, secured VIPs to attend the event, and coordinated items for the swag bags.
In addition, Durée & Company once again handled all public relations efforts for the must-attend cannabis conference.
