It’s the most wonderful time of the year! South Florida’s art season kicked off with the annual bang and bling of Art Basel in Miami. Art lovers may still be recovering from the champagne hangovers, but at South Florida PR firm Durée & Company, we urge cultural patrons to head to Coral Springs Museum of Art to fulfill that art need.
This winter, Coral Springs Museum of Art continues its exploration of contemporary art with a winter exhibition featuring abstract oil paintings by Russian artist Sergey Fedotov, including his jaw-droping, thickly-textured portraits of the anxiety of dentistry. The Museum is also showcasing text-based “Venetian fresco” pieces by Kirsten Bowen, featuring a 34-foot piece inspired by the lyrics of four musicians including Lenny Kravitz; and photography by Lew Lautin, a Coral SpringsMuseum of Art faculty member, known for his compassionate portraits of homeless people.
So skip the mall and head to the Coral Springs Museum of Art this holiday season – art and experience are priceless gifts!
