What’s better than an epic celebration in your own backyard? At award-winning PR firm Durée & Company, we love both celebrations and the city of Fort Lauderdale (speaking of, have you visited Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District lately?) It should come as no surprise that we’re excited about the upcoming Broward 100 events that will be going on this weekend to celebrate Broward County’s 100th birthday.
On Saturday, Oct. 3, Broward 100 will be hosting “Duende: WE – The Passion & Rhythm of the People.” This event will showcase a number of talented artists that have come from Broward County. Broadway legend Linda Eder and international recording artist Jon Secada will be taking the stage along with over 100 other South Florida musicians, dancers, poets, choirs, and athletes. Talk about variety!
“Duende: WE – The Passion & Rhythm of the People” will take place at the Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets range from $25–$160 and are quickly running out, so make sure to secure your spot by purchasing a ticket here. “WE” feel strongly about supporting the arts, through both these amazing events and our work with our client, the Broward Performing Arts Foundation.
You won’t want to miss out on all the talented artists that come from our very own Broward County. After watching these performances, you’ll have even more of a reason to brag about the amazing place you live.
