Celebrating three generations and 100 years in business is not something that happens every day. For our real estate PR client, Fort Lauderdale’s RIVA waterfront luxury condominiums and the Deckelbaum family of Broward County, Durée & Company recently pulled out all the stops to commemorate these milestones. From soup to nuts, we created a gala, titled the “Celebration on the River,” of grand proportions.
The event, held May 13, 2014, recognized not only the new RIVA luxury condominiums, launched by Premier Developers (the firm founded by the Deckelbaums), but also the impressive progress made by the company on its projects. Since the public launch of RIVA in March 2014:
- 25 percent of the residences are sold, and the sales program had moved from reservation to contract.
- Demolition had begun on the two-acre Middle River site, clearing the way for the 18-month construction to begin in fall 2014.
The “Celebration by the River” welcomed City of Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler, Fort Lauderdale City Manager Lee Feldman, excited condo buyers, top real estate brokers and more than 200 guests. Bradley Deckelbaum, the fourth-generation family member to head Premier Developers, was joined at the celebration by his father, Gordon, and grandfather, Moe. He also welcomed representatives from Audi, who will simultaneously build an elegant, new Audi showroom next to RIVA’s entrance drive off N. Federal Highway.
For the event, our team oversaw everything from the on-site menu and preparation, live music and bright riverside décor to coordination of the invitations, signage, valet, event staff, tents/seating and event flow. In short, our team did it all.
The symbol for the 100th anniversary is a 10-carat diamond, and fittingly, just like a sparkling jewel, this real estate PR event was flawless. Check out the photos here by clicking on RIVA Condos.
