Most people begin the new year with new resolve to do something to improve themselves. We get it, and we’ve done it. Exercise, eat right, volunteer more, spend more time with the people who matter. Check, check, check and check.
Last year, we started a new resolution: get involved with additional professional organizations. So, we participated in the 2013 Bernays Awards presented by the Gold Coast PR Council. It was a good resolution, because we won. What a great start to the year!
Durée & Company was recognized in the category of PR Campaign By a Small Company or Firm for the work we did for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. The campaign generated $617,000 worth of media coverage, not counting the extra media love we received by winning the award.
So we’re keeping the resolution going and signed up again, this time with three nominations for work our team did for Havana’s Cuban Cuisine, Feeding South Florida and Rising Tide Car Wash. If we win again, this resolution will be one of the easiest on record to keep!
The 2014 Bernays Awards will be presented at a special luncheon on Friday, January 24, at Boca Dunes Golf & Country, 1400 Country Club Drive in Boca Raton. Learn more here about Gold Coast PR Council and mark your calendar to meet this growing group of influential communicators, who serve clients and media markets in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, and along the Treasure Coast.
Wish us luck, as we wish you the best and brightest 2014!
