The Balcony, a trendy two-story New Orleans-style restaurant on Fort Lauderdale’s stylish Las Olas Boulevard, has launched a new menu featuring additional, new takes on NOLA-style cuisine; as well as refreshing new cocktails. In addition, the restaurant is offering enticing summer weekly specials now through Sept. 30.
Offering New Orleans-style tapas, craft cocktails and live music, The Balcony features an open air rooftop and balcony. It is owned by former Miami Dolphins Player Kim Bokamper and led by Executive Chef Simon Porter. The restaurant incorporates the dynamic tastes of New Orleans, which blends French, Spanish, West African, Amerindian, German, Italian, Irish and Vietnamese influences and ingredients.

Weekly Summer Specials
Now through Sept. 30, The Balcony is offering the following weekly summer specials:
- Monday: All day, guests can enjoy half off signature cocktails; and guests who are “In the Biz” will receive 20 percent off their entire check.
- Tuesday: All day, guests throughout the restaurant can enjoy The Balcony’s rendition of “Fat Tuesday,” featuring a $9.99 Shrimp Po’ Boy and draft beer.
- Wednesday: All day, guests throughout the restaurant can enjoy “Wine Down Wednesday,” featuring half off bottles of wine ($100 or less).
- Thursday: From 5 p.m.–close, guests can enjoy a “Ladies’ Night,” featuring half off all Martinis, as well as $5 Gruet Rosé and Gruet Brut
- Saturday & Sunday: During Jazz Brunch, guests can enjoy $15 bottomless Mimosas, Bloody Marys, Rosé (sparkling)
