Privately Set Within a Rare Florida Pine Preserve, the 14.38-Acre Sanctuary Features Three Freshwater Grottos, a Farmhouse and Unmatched Natural Beauty

Jill Eber of The Jills Zeder Group today announces she has listed “Breezy Oaks,” a uniquely lush, landscaped tropical farm oasis set on 14.38 acres (626,393 square feet) in Miami, for $17.999 million. The property is located at 14900 & 15000 SW 200th Street, Miami, Florida 33187.

Eber is representing the seller, David Wallack, CEO of Mango’s Tropical Café in Miami Beach and Orlando. Privately set within a rare Florida Pine Preserve, “Breezy Oaks” blends rustic charm, exotic tropical beauty and serene seclusion into an exceptional estate unlike any other in South Florida. The property’s future development flexibility, in addition with the potential to have it rezoned for commercial purposes, offers an array of possibilities for the right buyer.

Dramatic, massive coral rock pillars and sculpted copper electric entrance gates, designed by prominent copper sculptor Kim Brandell, greet visitors upon arrival. A long-winding, sculptured coral rock lined driveway, framed by a mature canopy of oak trees and tropical foliage, leads into the property. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom farmhouse, spanning 3,362 square feet, is also surrounded with beautiful oaks.

The west side of the property is enveloped by a lush three-acre rock pine preserve filled with native landscaping featuring soaring pines, tropical native plants, foliage and winding paths within this magical rock pine hammock. A thriving grove of fruit trees includes mature mango, avocado, and citrus trees that adds to the property’s charm, while an on-site bee colony produces fresh, natural honey, enhancing its organic, self-sustaining appeal. All sits on the west front of the property.

The centerpieces of “Breezy Oaks” are its three freshwater coral rock grottos, naturally sourced from the Floridian aquifer. Each has been artistically transformed by South Florida’s most renowned coral rock artisan Ben Bistrong of Jungle B’s Landscaping, using natural coral stone scaping — sculptural stairs and organic formations that blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, forming tranquil pools for relaxation and enjoyment, all to the sounds of cascading waterfalls. The grottos of “Breezy Oaks” were Bistrong’s last and greatest coral rock grotto sculptures before his untimely passing, adding immeasurably to their value.

The Main Grotto features coral stone stairs and natural landscaping that ascend to an upper peak rock, 23 feet high and overlooking the expansive grotto below, along with two white sandy beach areas designed for relaxation and a hidden cave tucked beneath the larger waterfall. Multiple waterfalls create a continuous cascade, filling the space with soothing, tranquil sounds. At the top, above the cave, multiple jumping points and a winding slide offer a playful and effortless return to the pool below. This grotto is filled with beautiful Koi fish and cichlids. The Main Grotto stands as the property’s centerpiece, creating a uniquely transcendental private paradise.

The East Grotto, located on the far side of the property, proves to be equally spectacular. A private, natural freshwater swimming pool grotto features a white sandy beach-style lounging area and the soothing sounds of cascading waterfalls. This tranquil coral pool is home to small, vegetarian tilapia that swim peacefully throughout the water, adding to the property’s serene, natural setting.

The east side of the property along with its winding walking trails features an expansive open lawn area ideal for sports, recreational activities or hosting large, tented events. The private, three-acre Rock Pine preserve further enhances the property’s natural beauty, and a large storage structure, tucked away behind the preserve, provides ample space for maintenance equipment or general storage.

The Hidden Grotto, ideally positioned between the Main and East grottos, is beautifully sculpted and landscaped in coral stone and stocked with tilapia. Its longer, lap-pool-style shape sets it apart, and it features multiple waterfalls and multiple coral stone steps to enter and exit, creating another private and serene swimming area.

Situated near the Florida Turnpike, “Breezy Oaks” offers convenient access to Miami, Homestead and the Florida Keys less than 45 minutes away. The estate presents endless possibilities for land and farm customization and future development while preserving its natural charm, privacy and serene environment. The property has ample parking on site for large parties.

Buyers also have the option to purchase an additional 29.20 acres of contiguous surrounding land, a separate parcel not included in the addressed listing, for six (6) million dollars. When combined with the listed 14.38 acres, the total offering reaches 43.58 acres.

“‘Breezy Oaks’ is truly a magical tropical oasis in South Florida, defined by its remarkable 14.38 acres, exceptional privacy, and rare natural beauty,” said Eber. “With three captivating spring-fed grottos, a canopy of majestic oaks, native pine trees, and a flourishing grove of fruit trees, this legacy property offers a very unique development opportunity where you can combine a private estate, equestrian retreat, and agricultural haven, all while preserving the integrity and tranquility of its natural surroundings.”

“‘Breezy Oaks’ is a tropical farm oasis in every sense of the word,” added Wallack. “From the moment you arrive, the serenity of this property takes over — the sounds of the waterfalls, the rustling of the pines, the stillness of the land. It is a true sanctuary.”
