Ann Storck Center, a Fort Lauderdale-based private nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is pleased to host its 27th Annual Celebrity Chefs Event on Friday, March 31, 2023.
Having garnered a reputation as one of South Florida’s most sought-after fundraising events, and back for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will take place at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood’s Terrace Ballroom in Hollywood, Florida. South Florida’s community leaders, philanthropists and influencers will be among the 250 guests.
This year’s event will honor Susan Renneisen, vice president of Community Affairs and Special Events at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.
Ann Storck Center’s 27th Annual Celebrity Chef’s Event will raise awareness, funds and “glasses” for the Ann Storck Center, which accommodates 96 permanent residents and serves more than 300 clients daily through an array of critical care, learning and ability focused programs.
Taking place from 6–10 p.m., the event will include local tastings featuring South Florida’s top restaurants, breweries and bakeries. Featured restaurants to date include Anthony’s Clam House and Grill, Aruba Beach Café, Beach House, Bravo Peruvian Kitchen, Brimstone, City Oyster and Sushi Bar, Even Keel Fish Shack, Georgia Pig, Louie Bossi’s Ristorante and Pizzeria, Mimi’s Ravioli, Oceanic, Tarpon River Brewery and Tulio’s Tacos and Tequila Bar. Guests will enjoy signature cocktails by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and wine provided by Republic National Distributing Company.
In addition, guests will experience live entertainment, plus live and silent auctions offering luxury items ranging from unique travel opportunities and elegant jewelry to memorabilia and lifestyle experiences. Cocktail attire is required.
Since its inception, Ann Storck Center’s Celebrity Chefs Event has raised nearly $5.5 million dollars to support Ann Storck Center’s mission, which is throughout all of its programs and services to discover ability and build independence so that individuals live happier, more independent, fulfilling lives.
