One of the best parts of the job here at Durée & Company, a public relations firm in South Florida, is seeing good people being celebrated for doing good.
So to have one of our clients, Henri Crockett of the Crockett Foundation, prominently featured in City & Shore magazine for the community-building work his organization does, makes our hearts collectively sing.
Promoting people like Henri is easy, because contrary to public opinion, media folks love writing about good news. They live in this community too, and it warms their hearts to able to write about a former FSU and NFL player originally from Pompano Beach, Florida (he now lives in Cooper City, Florida.) He’s inspiring a lot of people, including his young daughter, to further his passion for literacy, after-school tutoring and mentoring, and proper nutrition for all families.
Yes, plenty of worthy individuals doing fabulous deeds throughout South Florida are included in Powers for Good 2014, and we are thankful for each one of them. The team at Durée & Company has a soft spot for the several nonprofits and charities that we represent, which make South Florida a real home.
We’re just a bit more giddy when it’s one of our friends being featured, all glossied up in a well-respected magazine, and knowing we had a little something to do with getting him there.
Congratulations, Henri!
