Leading the collection’s design team is Creative Director Luis Escudero, who joined Rene Ruiz company in 2008 and has worked for several other leading Miami designers.

At the Coral Gables atelier, the design team immerses clients in personal design and styling. This includes bespoke personalized recommendations tailored for each client, and styling women for weddings, galas, mitzvahs, quinceañeras, prom, homecoming and beyond. Stylists assist women in curating a collection of evening gowns, cocktail dresses, suiting, separates, and jumpsuits; or can create a couture design exclusively for them.
The design team’s eye for high-quality fabrics sourced from top fabric mills in Italy, France and Turkey; and personalized attention to the creation and tailoring of each garment, have created an international following for the luxurious, original and cosmopolitan designs from A-list celebrities, such as Ana Navarro, Gloria Estefan and Rebel Wilson, to South Florida tastemakers.
In addition, the design team uses details from the special event such as venue, season, formality, color scheme and fashion style to help curate the look that each individual envisions. Sample-makers educated in the timeless tradition of couture sewing techniques carefully measure clients and alter garments to their physique. Consultations last one hour.
