Every day, Feeding South Florida strives to feed 871,920 hungry people in South Florida, including 287,650 children. This September, Feeding South Florida is partnering with Tsukuro, one of our favorite Fort Lauderdale Beach hotspots, to raise funds during Hunger Action Month (HAM).
Being good can be hungry work, so we encourage you to visit Tsukuro today and give back to Feeding South Florida. Here are a number of ways to donate to Feeding South Florida at Tsukuro:
- Stop by on Monday, September 8 from 6 – 8 p.m. for the Harvest Full Moon for the Tsukimi Moon Viewing Party. With a $20 donation, enjoy a complimentary cocktail, glass of wine or Blue Moon beer and light bites. Stay for dinner and enjoy a 20% discount on food and drink, while gazing at the Harvest Full Moon through telescopes.
Got plans on September 8? Well, there are still other ways to give during Hunger Action Month at Tsukuro…
- “Add A Plate” – Guests can purchase a $5 “small plate” or $10 “large plate” donation to Feeding South Florida, which will be added to their check. Those who “Add A Plate” will receive a 10 percent discount off their check. Tsukuro will make a $1 donation to Feeding South Florida for each person at a table, which participates in the “Add A Plate” program.
- Guests can download a certificate at www.tsukurofl.com or on the restaurant’s Facebook page to receive 10 percent off their check and complimentary parking during lunch, and a 10 percent discount on their check during dinner. Tsukuro will pledge a $1 donation for any certificates presented.
- When diners “Add A Plate” or present a certificate, Tsukuro will apply their check total to a Feeding South Florida loyalty card. For every $1 spent, Feeding South Florida will receive one point. For every 250 points, Feeding South Florida will receive $20 in Tsukuro gift cards.
