At public relations firm Durée & Company, we’re so very pleased when our esteemed president is noticed for her dedication and hard work within the PR industry – especially when this recognition involves the cover of a magazine.
Negocios, the only business magazine published in Spanish in the U.S., featured our very own Durée Ross, along with four other influential South Florida female PR executives, on the cover of the December-January issue. Durée stood alongside Isabel Bucaram of CNN en Español, Claudia Gioia of Burson-Marsteller, Rosa Soto of 3A Worldwide, and Aileen Abella of A² Media.
In an exclusive interview with the magazine, Durée spoke on a diversity of topics, ranging from some of the most significant changes she has seen in the PR industry in the past 10 years to some of the challenges that come with owning a growing boutique firm.
“I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed with success, but when you don’t see any option other than being successful, you will be successful,” explained Durée.
As the only featured woman from Broward County, which has one of the fastest-growing Hispanic populations in Florida, Durée also talked about the evolution of the Hispanic market and how companies are reacting to it. She voiced how important it is to reach out to the Hispanic market with relevant messages that not only appeal to its culture, but also connect clients’ brands with its values.
“I’m very honored to have made the cover of this influential publication and be in such good company,” said Durée. “The importance of the Hispanic market is unquestionable; as a company, we continue to strengthen our connection with it.”
