Dustin Robinson Expands Psychedelic Series With Two California Panels Featuring Top Psychedelic Executives and Celebrities on Feb. 28 and March 2

For almost a year, Dustin Robinson, Esq. CPA has been hosting a monthly Psychedelic Series at Soho Beach House Miami. Due to the high demand and success of the panels, Robinson has expanded to locations throughout the country, and is hosting two panels in California with top psychedelic executives and celebrities on Monday, Feb. 28 and Wednesday, March 2.

Every month, the Psychedelic Series features experts in the psychedelics space including CEOs, doctors, lawyers, and celebrities. Past panelists include NBA champion Lamar Odom, Stanley Cup champion Daniel Carcillo, Psilera Bioscience CEO Chris Witowski, Ph.D., Silo Wellness CEO Douglas K. Gordon, and others.

Robinson is Founding Partner of Mr. Cannabis Law – a full service law firm focused on the cannabis and psychedelic industries; Co-Founder of Mr. Psychedelic Law – a non-profit focused on psychedelic legal reform; Managing Principal of Iter Investments – a venture capital firm deploying capital across the psychedelic ecosystem; and co-founder of Nucleus– a platform with various tools to help guide individuals on their mental health journey.

Soho House West Hollywood:

Psychedelic Series Featuring Donick Cary, Zappy Zapolin and Natalie Ginsberg, MSW

Date/Time: Monday, February 28 at 7 p.m. PST

Details: Moderated by Dustin Robinson, this panel will feature Donick Cary, Emmy-winning writer, producer, and director; Zappy Zapolin, psychedelic concierge to the stars and founder of KetaMD; and Natalie Ginsberg, MSW, the Global Impact Officer of Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

Cary’s directorial debut, “Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics,” launched in 2020. The documentary was selected by SXSW and debuted on Netflix in May 2020, remaining in the top ten for over a month. Cary has had a long comedy career in Hollywood, writing for “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Simpsons,” “New Girl,” “Parks and Recreation,” and “Silicon Valley.”

Zappy is often called on as a “psychedelic concierge” to help celebrities, thought leaders and business icons have a conscious transformation. Zappy is the founder of Mind Army, The Ketamine Fund and KetaMD. Zappy’s documentary, “Lamar Odom Re/Born,” features Lamar Odom’s complete transformation from public breakdown, depression, and addiction to healthy and thriving through ketamine infusions and plant medicine.

Ginsberg is particularly inspired by psychedelics’ potential role in healing intergenerational trauma and conflict, and for inspiring innovative community-driven solutions. She founded the Policy & Advocacy department at MAPS, and served as its director for 5 years. She also initiated and helped develop MAPS’ Health Equity program.

Little Beach House Malibu:

Psychedelic Series Featuring MAPS Executives Including Rick Doblin, PhD, Natalie Ginsberg, MSW, and Joseph Ryan McCowan, PsyD 

Date/Time: Wednesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. PST

Details: Moderated by Dustin Robinson and Dorna Pourang, a drug development researcher who has researched novel healing modalities for over 15 years, this panel will feature Rick Doblin, PhD, founder and executive director of Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS); Natalie Ginsberg, MSW, the Global Impact Officer of Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS); and Joseph Ryan McCowan, PsyD, clinical psychologist at California Center for Psychedelic Therapy and co-therapist in the MAPS sponsored phase III clinical trials of MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy for PTSD.

Doblin, one of the top influential people in the psychedelics industry, founded MAPS in 1986, a 501(c)(3) non-profit research and educational organization that develops medical, legal, and cultural contexts for people to benefit from the careful uses of psychedelics and marijuana. He received his doctorate in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, where he wrote his dissertation on the regulation of the medical uses of psychedelics and marijuana and his Master’s thesis on a survey of oncologists about smoked marijuana vs. the oral THC pill in nausea control for cancer patients.

Ginsberg is particularly inspired by psychedelics’ potential role in healing intergenerational trauma and conflict, and for inspiring innovative community-driven solutions. She founded the Policy & Advocacy department at MAPS, and served as its director for 5 years. She also initiated and helped develop MAPS’ Health Equity program.

McCowan is a licensed clinical psychologist offering Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, psychedelic integration therapy, and psychotherapy grounded in humanistic, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based approaches. He views healing as the process of discovering, connecting with, and activating our innate internal resources. McCowan is also a co-therapist in the MAPS sponsored phase III clinical trials of MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy for PTSD and serves as a trainer in the MDMA Therapy Training program. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
