Father’s Day Blog Series Part 4: It’s Father’s Day! Let’s Eat at Tsukuro!

tsukuro icon blackWith Father’s Day right around the corner, we at Durée & Company are happy to recommend some wonderful ways to celebrate the holiday with scrumptious foods.

So far in our special blog series dedicated to gastronomical ways to commemorate dads, we have talked about our clients Gimme A Burger®, then BRIO Tuscan Grille and Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, and now, Tsukuro Asian-inspired eatery, located on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Is your dad a “foodie?” Does he like to be seen at the hottest spots in town? Is he addicted to “Chopped” and “Top Chef?” Then, treat him to a flavorful journey around the world with Tsukuro’s Asian-inspired menu. No passport (or vaccinations) required.

_GSP2797Featuring seasonal ocean treasures from the raw bar and a variety of fresh sushi, sashimi and rolls ($6–$30), the all-day menu is complemented by small and large plates for sharing, ranging from Tsukuro’s beloved Wok Sweet Brussels Sprouts ($7) – a Duree & Company favorite – to Oxtail Spring Rolls ($10) to Chinese-style Roasted Duck (half $29/whole $49) and Skirt Steak with soy miso glaze and roasted mushrooms ($29).

IMG_8507Don’t forget to raise a glass (or several) to dad with a Tea Forté-infused cocktail. Cocktails include the Malibu Earl of Paradise Punch, Island Spice Iced Tea, Basil Mo-tea-to, Midnight Cowboy, and the Tea-Tini. Tea-Pitcher Cocktails, suitable for two to share, start at $12.

Tsukuro, which translates to the phrase “where the moon arrives over the water,” offers Fort Lauderdale locals and visitors stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean while indulging in Asian-inspired savory and sweet plates with global influences. Tsukuro serves guests lunch from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. and an all-day menu from open until 11 p.m. From 11 a.m.–6 p.m., diners can enjoy happy hour specials, which change monthly.  Tsukuro is located at 225 S.
