On the evening of Saturday, March 18, the Friends of Jack & Jill Center hosted its renowned signature event, the 18th Annual Pediatrix Flip Flops on the Docks. More than 425 guests attended the casual soirée, raising $435,000 for children and families in need.

Hosted at the stunning Lauderdale Yacht Club, Flip Flops on the Docks featured relaxed tropical beach décor, delicious drinks, fabulous Caribbean inspired food and live music by the Marcia Mitchell Band. Guests enjoyed a performance by Bahamian Junkanoo inspired by the islands including stilt dancers, a steel drum and carnival dancers. Guests also had the opportunity to bid on luxurious items in live and silent auctions while enjoying the scenic backdrop of Fort Lauderdale overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.

“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from all those who joined us for our Annual Pediatrix Flip Flops on the Docks at the gorgeous Lauderdale Yacht Club,” said Heather Siskind, CEO of Jack & Jill Center. “It was great to see everyone leave their heels and ties at home to enjoy a wonderful evening to support children and families in need. Thank you to our event chairs and sponsors for helping us make it possible.”

All proceeds from Pediatrix Flip Flops on the Docks will benefit Jack & Jill Center’s mission to strengthen children and families through innovative education, supportive programming and community engagement.
