The Jills Zeder Group Lists Streamline Moderne Art Deco Home at 1301 Lenox Ave. in South Beach for $6.75 Million

The Jills Zeder Group has listed the completely renovated, 2-story Streamline Moderne Art Deco 1936 home at 1301 Lenox Ave. in Miami Beach for $6.75 million. Danny Hertzberg and Jill Hertzberg of The Jills Zeder Group are representing the sellers, Michael Chetcuti, and Kyle Evans of Kyle Evans Design, a full-service design consultancy with expertise on automotive, industrial and interior design.

Offering 5,100 square feet of indoor-outdoor living, the one-of-a-kind home features four bedrooms, four en suite bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.

Located in the heart of South Beach, the home is the only preserved example of a Streamline Moderne single family home, whose style is inspired by aerodynamic design, in the area. It was originally designed by popular architect Henry Maloney, who designed the Hotel Shelley, The Lafayette, and The Edward Hotel, all in Miami Beach.

Chetcuti’s and Evans’ complete and absolute gut renovation of the entire home and lot, including large additions, a pool, and jungle-type landscaping, was completed in 2018. All new Art Deco architectural trim and detailing, including curved walls and triple stepped ceiling trays, was rebuilt and restored throughout the house. The architect of record is DNA Design & Architecture, construction is by McKenzie, all-new jungle-type landscape with a variety of native species was designed by Matthew Lewis of L&ND, and the pool is by Sean Tuttle.

The large chef’s kitchen boasts built-in and custom paneled Sub-Zero appliances, as well as French flat top BlueStar oven with a custom stainless steel range hood. The kitchen also features a large walk-in pantry and two dishwashers, and hideaway coffee bar including a built-in Vero chilled/sparkling water station. A custom bronze dining room bar sports built-in Sub-Zero bar appliances including refrigeration, ice maker, and wine cooler. Situated in the family room is a large hideaway TV.

The expansive principal suite beckons with a giant walk-in closet, coffee bar, with built-in Sub-Zero fridge, and additional washer and dryer. Other impressive features include a convertible gym with PRx rack and steam shower, and wood-paneled office with corner windows and aluminum Art Deco trim.

Beckoning with ultimate luxury, the large indoor/outdoor spa bathroom features a BainUltra massaging tub with heated backrest, Toto toilet, floor-to-ceiling mitered Brazilian Lago Seco marble, oversized shower with ipe flooring, and a pocket door to the outdoor spa area.

Exquisite appointments include three sets of extremely rare 1938 Crane Neuvogue sinks and toilets, designed by famed industrial design pioneer Henry Dreyfuss; a 1938 custom aluminum inlaid pocket door with Art Deco propeller design, and a custom-designed Italian-made Murano glass chandelier surrounded by a curtain of bespoke macramé in the 2-story entry foyer.

Additional interior features include Newport Brass and Kohler plumbing fixtures throughout, all new top-of-the-line impact windows and Fleetwood pocket sliders, and trimless square LED recessed lighting throughout. A complete smart home with a Control4® system, the entire house and yard is zoned for music, light and entertainment control. A security system with multiple cameras covers the home’s entire exterior; the home features a DoorBird gate controller.

3D exterior Ann Sacks tiles are located on all of the additions to the home, which also offers Slimline air conditioning venting throughout, and 3-zone climate control with an Air Aroma scent built in.

Perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing, the home’s exterior features three first floor outdoor areas and two second floor terraces. 2. Something you did that changed something or someone else.

If you never showed up to your last job, what wouldn’t have happened? That’s right. Erase yourself. Now which clients disappeared with you? Which articles just fade away? What press releases cease to exist? How much social media did NOT get liked?

We are just meeting you. So take a moment to spell out your impact, and it will be easier for us to see what you can do for the clients of Durée & Company. Share this under your Job Responsibilities.

3. Anything you created.

Feeling humble? Well, stop it. This is the part where you brag. If you craft a delightful blog, master a mind-blowing website, shoot crazy video or direct wonderful events, show us.

Then tell us a bit of how you did it, so we trust that it was your brilliance and not the intern’s. Let’s dub this Your Portfolio.

4. An indication of why you belong here.

At PR firm Durée & Company, we have a culture. Really, all companies do. To learn about ours, do some legwork. At this point, if you’re on our blog, you are in the right spot to begin learning. 5. Correctly spelled words – all of them.

Do more than hit spell check. Know how to spell or ask someone to proofread. Correctly spelled words work everywhere, all the time. Consider them the Little Black Dresses of resumes.

So consider these five tips – we’ve just given you a “cheat sheet” about what we’re watching out for. Even if our position may not be for you, feel free to use our advice for another – it may just get you the job!
