Networking, charitable giving, a talk by one of South Florida’s most successful real estate developers, and delightful small bites and libations – what more could a young professional want? At South Florida PR firm Durée & Company, this event is right up our alley: Club Blue Miami, Young Professionals for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade is hosting an April 30 networking event, celebrating the group’s fourth anniversary.
Taking place at the Grove Isle Hotel & Spa in Coconut Grove from 6:30–8:30 p.m., the not-to-be-missed event will feature David Martin, president and co-founder of Terra Group, one of South Florida’s top real estate development companies, as the guest speaker. He’s spent more than 15 years evolving the South Florida landscape and by extension, the lives of the people within it. He’s led the company’s operations, sales, and marketing as well as investment and development projects. With a unique interest in education, the arts and health foundations, David and the entire Martin family are among Miami’s top philanthropic families..
Those attending will enjoy appetizers, followed by an assortment of desserts, courtesy of Grove Isle. Other sponsors and underwriters include Russian Standard Vodka, Jax Coco, Borggini Events, A Productions Inc., Chick & a Mouse, and Andres Guilarte of Allstate. Goodie bags will be complements of Kiehl’s Lincoln Road and Nature’s Cocktail Super Food on the Go. All attendees must make a minimum donation of $25; includes a cocktail, passed hors d’oeuvres, and drawing for prizes.
Even if you can’t attend, be sure to check out Club Blue Miami! It comprises energetic, young professionals ages 45 or younger who are, or are certain to become, the community’s future leaders. It was established to provide a place where young professionals can connect to change lives. Members are individual contributors who are committed to expanding Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s mission of building community awareness and establishing long-lasting ties with the community.
