Valley View University, Free Community Education Provided by Valley View, to Present “Knee Pain 101,” Virtual Session with Tomas Pevny, MD of ValleyOrtho on April 7

Valley View University (VVU), free educational webinars hosted by Valley View, is dedicated to providing the community with engaging and personalized medical education with its world-class physicians. ValleyOrtho Orthopedic Surgeon Tomas Pevny, MD will present “Knee Pain 101,” a virtual session via Zoom on Wednesday, April 7.

Whether knee pain is caused by aging, a known injury, or seemingly appeared out of nowhere, it can be a nuisance and even debilitating in some cases. In this 20-minute discussion followed by open Q&A, Dr. Pevny will discuss common reasons for knee pain, things patients can do to avoid it, and treatment options to get patients back to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Pevny, who has been practicing in Aspen since 1995, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a fellowship in sports medicine and special interests in the shoulder and knee. He pioneered total joint surgery in Aspen.
